Hi all, I am new to this group but I have a bit of a problem. I am addicted to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. I have devoted over 3000 hours to this game and it has only been out a year. I have missed work, I have missed school, and I have missed meals to play this game. All of my friends play it too so I cannot get away from the game. I am not that good at it either so I cannot use my time playing the game to make money. Do any of you have any suggestions that might help? Thank you for your time reading this.

Is there another activity that you enjoy? It might be helpful to find yourself some sort of distraction. Something that you can go straight to when you feel the need to play Super Smash Bros. In addition to that, it might be helpful to have someone else hide the game from you so you cannot see it regularly as well as ask your friends not to play it around you as much.

Thank you for your suggestions, I recently took up bike riding which helped take my mind off of the game but now that it is winter its a bit harder to go out in the snow.
