So I'm about to be graduating from nursing school in May. I'm more eager to start this new chapter in my life than celebrating and turning up. Now I'm just dreaming of a clean slate for sometime in the future. New state, new environment, new friends, being around true and genuine people. Any suggestions? Some places in the south seem easygoing and friendly. Idk. What's the nicest place anyone's ever visited?
@soymanda right? I've never been to the Midwest, but I also live in AZ. although where I am I would not call the weather gorgeous at all lol. people tend to be standoffish here.
@norseduncan Haha, it's gorgeous right now...ask me how I feel in July!! I am a native here, so when I started spending time in the midwest more I was so surprised! Neighbors talk, people are kind, it just seems a little slower there. And as a mom, it is so much more family friendly! What I absolutely love about AZ is that you can find so many different beautiful landscapes, escape the heat in a 2 hour drive, etc. Which area of AZ are you in? I'm in the East valley/Phoenix area.
west valley/phoenix. and I don't drive (by choice). like most in az not a native lol. yeah, neighbors don't talk much here, and people are not unkind, but not approachable. I really miss my icy mountains. that they don't have here, even up north. I did like oak creek canyon, but have not been in forever.
