Pretty upset and could use some support. Do you have people telling you to work out? Is it super frusterating for you too? I have chronic pain. Getting up every morning I struggle with, just simply getting out of bed for the day. Showering sometimes hurts too, just little things hurt. How could I possibly lift weights? I don't know, I'm just upset and looking for some other answers and support. If I could work out I would. Am I not trying hard enough? Is it worth it to hurt myself? I don't know what to think. This person's opinion matters to me, but how could they say I'm not trying? I try everyday :( I want them to understand, how could I possibly explain I try daily to someone who doesn't have to? How can I explain that even though I haven't just randomly tried working out, I know it will just cause more pain. I would like to think i know my body that well at least

@analias4u It might be too much to ask, but if you got that much help, if the people who helped you know of anyone similar in Washington? If you could ask and see if they know of people who do things similarly to them? Im going to be finding a new pain management clinic soon and i want to find the right one

I thought you had Medicaid. What makes you think Medicaid will pay for you to see Psychologist ? Have you called offices in your area and asked if the Psychologist accepts Medicaid Only ? There are Psychologists that specialize in chronic pain. Who told you Medicaid would pay $500 for a Neuropsychologist ?

Unfortunately, in most states, Medicaid pays so little that the doctors that accept it are not quality doctors. Have you gone to a teaching hospital ? Even though the doctors there are also Medicaid doctors. The fact the doctors are still in training and can give then the push needed to try and get to the bottom of complicated cases. They also have doctors that are older and more experienced they can to if they have questions.
