Hypermobility post. I've been doing research ever since I saw a post about Ehlers Danlos syndrome. The more I think about it the more I think that's what's wrong. I had lots of little things but never considered they were all just symptoms. I had severe headaches and fainting when I was younger. I wear sunglasses whenever I go out because the light hurts my eyes. I once had chest pain so intense that I more or less passed out. I'll have to see a doctor to be sure but all signs point that way.
I'm pretty sure my mother had it too. She a big chunk of her life with chronic pain. She was diagnosed fibromyalgia after a long period of being accused of drug seeking. I watched spend my childhood dying in slow motion. The part scares me is that she died of a stroke at the age of 52. I never wanted to be president or anything but the idea that I could one day sneeze and go face first into the ground haunts me.

That would scare anyone. Please get the proper diagnosis soon. I will keep you in my prayers. God bless you.

@Marinewife Thank you. I'm looking for a specialist near me but a small town isn't the best place.

It's so weird looking back with this knowledge and seeing things so differently. I could only run about 30 feet before I got winded but I just figured I wasn't athletic. If I'm standing still for any length of time I find something to lean on. I always bought the biggest bottle of ibuprofen and never questioned that I needed them. I sometimes feel sick after I eat but assumed that was normal. It makes me wonder how many things I assumed were normal and nobody corrected me.
