My dads not doing well. He has congestive heart failure. I'm

My dads not doing well. He has congestive heart failure. I'm taking him to his heart Dr. tomorrow morn. In past weeks he's been in and out of the Hospital. Basically the Doctors have offered to contact Hospice for us. His breathing is terrible. Though all tests show he's getting the oxygen he needs. His heart of course is not working well. So it strains to beat and push the blood through his arteries. My dad knows in a way, that he's close to passing. At the same time he's in denial also. He has terrible anger issues. Though he's become angry more so at life than at me.
My steps is, who a textbook case of a Narcissistic person, has been coming over a bit more. Not much really. But a couple times this past month, which is more than usual. A few days ago, she stopped by while I was out shopping. She TOLD my dad she was going to clean the house. And told him lousy things about me etc. etc. My dad was very angry and all it did was stress him out. He owns a very old worn out trailer. And he said he knows she wants to get her hands on it. She has done little to help him or my ma, (stepmother when she was alive). I could go on about that. But she makes life harder on him instead of better. She could have offered to spend the night when I'm at work. She lives about 20 minutes away. She also said she was going to bring him some soup. We had thought some homemade soup. No.... a can of Campbell's Clam Chowder. I was surprised to say the least... My dad doesn't like chowder, and with most people we probably have at least a dozen cans of soup. Including, Chowder...
She owns her own business and does well with it. She travels 2 or 3 months each summer. When my Ma was in Hospice the last 7 weeks of her life. My step sis couldn't help staying in the hospital for hours on end, as my dad and I did. She took a 4 and then a 5 week vacation. And it was her mom...
My dads old and close to death. He has a will that's sealed till he dies. He's anything but rich and has lived just from SSI since his 60s.
I'm still surprised and yet I'm not, at her thoughtlessness. But that's the narcissist for you.

Thanks! I'm doing okay. My dads home, and oxygen was brought to help with his breathing. He HATES it. But he must use it.

Oh I'm so glad. I remember my mother-in-law with oxygen. It really helped with her COPD. Glad you're doing okay too.
