Day 4 Champion

Hey guys, last night I had a nightmare, I found myself eating ice cream with lots of toppings without realizing I was doing it! Crazy nightmare to have right? The source of the fear though was that it meant I was going to throw it up (because ice cream right?) But in the dream I threw the dish away from myself and decided to live with the amount I had already eaten. SO while it woke me up with a feeling of anxiety I'm going to take it as a good sign. However I also woke up grinding my teeth a lot, which as far as I know I haven't done in a long time, weird response? Anyway I was super restless last night and did not sleep well at all. BUT I still did well today, no relapses. I also went for a run, which felt great, I was smiling the whole way watching the birds fly away, but then an old injury in my foot made me stop before I wanted to. Super frustrating as I do love running outside. So I got to go 2 miles rather than 3. I'm afraid I'll never get to pick up running regularly again, but I'm going to try going to a foot doctor as running has been a great ally to me in fighting off bulimia and depression/stress in the past. Either way I'm not going to let it stop me, I can't control everything including my feet, but I can switch to different forms of exercise and make the choice to be happy and tap into my joy. Like right now. Joy, and I'm sending it to everyone else out there suffering and struggling to be a better, happier, and more joyful person.

Much Love,
Ariel

Well done friend! Maybe orthotics in your shoes might help alleviate your pain and allow you to have this important outlet!
