@kisobel what book do you use? Thank you for being there for me and not judging! No, I never found her and the hovering thing didn’t work on my iPhone. I am not going back to her: too young & inexperienced. Apparently some of my newly learned skills are working since I didn’t go off on her or say what I was really thinking - maybe she needs therapy for her own issues! Looking back I’m pretty proud of myself. I’ve been hibernating 1) it’s colder than I can deal with & 2) I’ve been doing a lot of thinking. A therapist is supposed to let you talk - I have other issues than BPD that need to be addressed- not shut down. Times sure have changed, is there now a specialist for each issue? I do have an appointment with a “regular” psychiatrist this month and we’ll see how that goes. Should be interesting since they are all in the same facility and I’ve already kicked 2 of the counselors to the curb. Have an awesome day!

Hi Susie - I use *The Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Workbook: Practical DBT Exercises for Learning Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotion Regulation & ... Tolerance (New Harbinger Self-Help Workbook) Paperback – July 1, 2007. I am proud of you too for not going off on your therapist. I'm about to go off on my PCP because she sent me a registered letter informing me she is withdrawing as my
doctor. What a ****! Everyone loves me!!! (*lol*) I think I better open that book up this morning and work on some distress tolerance...... Hope you have a great day too!
