Here's a poem I wrote which is in part about my symptoms of BPD.

Name: "groundhog day"

you've heard of it,
i'm sure you have;
the myth of groundhog day,
the day which repeats itself eternally.

well, you see,
i've been living in my own groundhog day.
an endless cycle of endless pain
but always the same result.

some may try to say that it's impossible
but i've witnessed it.
i live everyday,
the same day,

again.

and again.

and again.

and... again.

living in this prison of my mind,
this hamster wheel i call "fine".
it's never ending suffering.
and it's my reality.

no matter the method,
no matter who or what comes in,
the next day is the same.
always numb yet overflowing.

my life is a circle,
my mind is a mess.
i've been thrown around,
but i stand still.

i will not let this groundhog day
that keeps me trapped
trap my will to keep going
and send it circling down the drain like the rest of my soul.

I hope one of these days the cycle will be broken.  Hugs!
