I haven't been on the site for awhile, hoping things were getting better. A had a pt job, took a sign language class and was working out. Fast forward, last Monday I awoke to a water pipe break in our apt. We tried contacting maintenance an no one came for almost 9 hours, most likely starting around midnight. Yesterday I was let George from my pt job. Apparently I wasn't picking up things as quick as they hoped. Keep in mind the two people who were supposed to train me, spent the majority of the day on their phones or on Facebook or watching Netflix. I did discuss my concerns with my therapist and she said that I should let them know I need more training. I probably should have gone to the manager but I really wanted to give them a chance to help me feel more comfortable. I have had jobs far more stressful than this one. Considering I haven't worked for over a year due to my depression, put in a psych ward, suffer from DBT, I thought a pt job would get me out there. I feel like Every time things look better, reality creeps back.

Dealing with the bathroom flood and now losing my job have taken a toll. There were thoughts of suicide, feeling it never seems to get better. I have learned a lot in my DBT group and counseling but sometimes crap just keeps piling up. I honestly don't know what to do at this point.

I am so sorry that you have gone thru all of this but you do seem to be staying strong thru all of this and you should give yourself credit for that. I think that we all have these down falls in life but we have to ride them out. As for the job you need to tell them that you feel that you weren't trained properly.

You do seem to be holding strong despite these challenges. Life is dealing you a tough deck of cards. You're doing all the right things to help yourself, and you seem to have come a long way from the psych ward. I give you a lot of credit for that. Hang in there and you will get through the flood and these challenges soon.
