SNOW!
Posted February 18th 2021 by Support Groups
When you live in the South there are certain things that just make sense, you have a lot of swimsuits, but not a lot of winter wear, you buy sunscreen and bug spray in bulk, when you ask people if they want tea it is assumed it is iced, you say pecan Pe-Chan because Pe-Can refers to a porta potty, 100 degree days are normal and snow is unheard of.
Well, hell hath frozen over because down South Y’all, we have snow! It is beautiful, but if you have been following the news, the snow has caused massive power outages. It is cold when the power goes out and when you are not prepared for such weather, the havoc it creates is heartbreaking.
When one person is hurting, we should all hurt with them, but we should also do everything in our power to DO SOMETHING about the hurt as well.
“Giving is an act of generosity.
Giving is sowing a seed.
The seed will produce great harvest of fruits.”
