So yesterday I found out that my dad is bipolar and isn't taking his meds. Any advice on how to deal with this? How to get him to take his meds? I'm kinda worried about him.

I didn't take my meds for many years and created a lot of huge messes as a result. For me, it all had to do with accepting that bipolar is simply a chemical imbalance which can be balanced with medication for long periods of time. I didn't want to be labeled as crazy, or believe that something was wrong with me. But as a result of not taking the meds, I did a lot of crazy things. Now I finally understand how much the meds help. It's no different than regulating blood sugar for a Diabetic or monitoring any other physical imbalance. Maybe if you mention this he will look at it in a different light.
