Hello, my name is Jack Lyden and I’m a consultant with New Heights Research (www.nh-r.com), an independent market research organization based in Cleveland, OH.

I’m posting today to ask for your help with a study we’re conducting. To support the study, we are surveying both therapists and patients.

We are asking for your help to do this. And in appreciation for your valuable assistance, we would be pleased to send you a summary of the study’s findings, plus a $25 gift card to Amazon.com.

** Patient Survey related to Binge Eating Disorders (BED) **
New Heights is also conducting an ANONYMOUS study of patients that have or had a Binge Eating Disorder (BED).
Our objectives include better understanding:
• the awareness and use of the available treatment options among patients with BED;
• the factors most important to patients when they select specialized treatment (outpatient/inpatient) programs; and
• perspectives of patients on existing treatment programs.

We are surveying persons that are undergoing (or have undergone) any formal treatment for BED (including outpatient, IOP, PHP, residential, or inpatient). No personal identifying information will be requested or taken in the survey.

The survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete and can be done on a computer, tablet or smartphone.

Understanding that confidentiality is of primary importance, we thought that you might pass along the patient survey link (http://bronco-pat-nhr.questionpro.com) to any interested persons that are receiving or have received treatment for BED. Again, no personal identifying information is required – everything is anonymous.

• Each qualified patient/participant that completes the survey will receive a $25 Amazon.com gift card – or the equivalent donation will be made on their behalf to the charity of their choice.
If you have any questions about our study and/or the surveys, please feel free to contact me directly at 216-523-4293 or [email protected]

Many thanks in advance,
