Now that I am detoxing my body with nothing but organic produce I am feeling withdrawals that are extremely painful. It's the same intense physical, psychological, emotional pain as when I detoxed from adderall, alcohol and nicotine.
Night 2 of fighting the overwhelming cravings to feed the monster inside me that I'm trying to starve. I sat in my Van and cried with my head down on the steering wheel. I prayed. God please ..I don't want this. I had to fight. I had to make a choice. Am I going to give in to this freshly battle or am I going to Win with the Spirit that lives inside me?
I choose to Win with my Spirit. So I cried and I released emotional pain instead of stuffing it down with poison and feeding the little Demon in me that is Omentum fat. It's alive and it's throwing a fit. O yeah! And I'm going to kill it. I'm going to Starve it and get rid of it by not feeding it poison. It can not live on God's food!

@Bloodstone2020 That sounds like me earlier this year - injured for the first time ever. Before I always beat up the inside of my body to the point of hair falling out, missed periods and high resting heart rate as well as muscle wasting. But getting older and over training hurt my knee this time. What a dose of humility that was. Same thing - I ignored it and then had to stop all together for awhile and do physical therapy.
I wish you happy recovery and therapy. You're right 0 afterwards, if you do what you need to do, it IS stronger and better. It's just a major test between injury and that first day back being able to do what you were before.

@LollyNews Tennis can be a very frustrating game in the beginning. Good lessons with pro and a nice practice routine for about 2-3 times a week, and things get much better. And these days, so much free information out there on how to better your strokes. I'm in good shape for my age, but brittle, so now have think more about and do more stretching. Starting to try easy yoga postures and this is helping. Again, it has to be a daily practice. Fun though. Good for mind/body/spirit. Peace

@HildaBeast Hope you're finding what works for you now. I wish I could hit the ball as hard as I did when I was younger....this a very bad idea. I'm not doing any formal physical therapy. I pretty much know how to take care of it and after a month and a half, if I don't do anything stupid and drop the 10 pounds I plan I on dropping this week, will head for the gym this coming Monday. I ease into training since will be almost two months away from the gym, but won't be too bad. Looking forward to nice safe fun progress for the remainder of the year and into spring. Hoping the best for you too! Peace
