Hi. I have a question for anyone familiar with scripts. I saw my doctor who is doing my spine injection. He sent an electronic script which I filled. The problem is the dosage should be 3 times a day for my pain med but he put 1 time a day. My question is he needs to send a new script with different dosage or a but should it be a different drug or just a variation. Like percicet without the Tylenol is just plain oxycodone. What do you think?ty

Call your Dr office and tell them that it says 1 time a day on the script and you thought it was suppose to be 3 x. See what they say.

Thx. What ended up happening is I had him change the mg and filled a new script. I'll end up doing it again in another week. Since I'm getting another spine surgery probably in the next few weeks. Either the actual surgeon will hopefully write me a script. If not the other doctor will have to write it with a different dosage. Crazy though. It shouldn't be this way. It seems most doctors now are afraid to write normal pain scripts due to the overdoses. Ridiculous to me cause they are lumping in all the patients who take it responsibly with all the people who are overdosing when the overdoses mostly involve illegal drugs. Sorry for long post.
