Not so good.much unwanted pain
I was in pain management 13 years. Started with Vicodin, then Norco the drugs kept climbing until I was on Oxycontin,Oxycodone and Fentanyl all together. When they stopped working the doctor brought up putting me on a pump that's when I said no. Not going there. Over three months I weaned off the Opioids. I'm clean now but suffering so much pain. I don't even know how to get relief from the pain.

You and I are in the same boat. I have a SCS Unit which is something you SHOULD check into. It’s a spinal cord stimulator Unit. You have to qualify for one of these bc it’s like a pain pump; last resort option. I was 38 years old when I got one. It’s been a life saver for me. Mine is a MedTronic wireless unit. The newest battery was implanted On July 13, 2018.
You should check into it. Also, I’d like to add you as a friend but Idk how to do that. Anyway, try and have a good day. I know, it’s not easy by try to enjoy yourself while doing something. Today it’s been painful to walk but if I can get someone to play cornhole, I’ll play it. I’ll be in pain later but I have to have some fun bc without it, life’s over for me.

TobA2977, pain management gave me a DVD to watch on this spinal cord stimulator. It all sounded good until I heard the risks in having it imp!anted. I wasn't comfortable with the risks so I declined. Pain management doctor said by the looks of my most current x-rays and mri's my degeneration has severely progresses. He offered my a pain meds pump I initially said no a few months ago but I believe it won't be long before I'll have to go there. For the pain in my left knee I will go with aknee replacement and hope the pain will calm down. I don't know what they will do for the cervicle spine just have wait and see. The right hip is not good, very painful, may be looking at replacement there too. My back is in pain all the time. Two fusions already, Dr doesn't want to do anymore surgery on my spine so I don't know if there's anything else they can do, suffer? I'm a mess and things don't look good for my body. I never imagined my body would end up so messed up. Ugh
