Tips for anxiety that I've found online:
-Put ice or an icepack on your wrists. It does something to your circulation to calm you down.
-Take a hot shower.
-Peel an orange. It gives you something to do with your hands and the citrus smell is calming.
-Take magnesium. Alternately, eat pumpkin seeds as a snack, they are very rich in magnesium.
