I know this is a minor issue but I just wanna vent.
I live in the country and it was so peaceful out here until a few weeks ago when my neighbor moved out and rented to a bunch of single guys.
Every Friday at 5 PM they blast the music till Monday.
Right now it’s 1:30 AM Saturday morning and they’re louder than ever yelling and screaming. It lasts all weekend. It would help if it was at least good music. But it’s not. What’s next? Smashing a few beer bottles in the street.
My neighbors across the street work 7 days a week. The neighbors on the other side of me have little children that are trying to sleep. Cops aren’t gonna do anything Because there is no noise ordinance out here.
I called the office and left a message. But of course since it’s Friday night they won’t even get it till Monday. And then who knows if they’re gonna do anything.
I’m just sensitive to noise and it’s giving me a lot of anxiety.
The constant noise. Doesn’t stop. It’s not like it only last for an hour. It’s all night and all morning for 3 days.
I’ve got my earplugs ready and some headphones to put on top of that if I need to.

@LollyNews It was. The building had a courtyard and we were both on the ground floor. They had dragged this ratty old couch against the exterior wall so that they could talk through the window and smoke and blast music.

@Griffin97 ugh! From my experience of renting a lot of different apartments, fortunately these people never last long. It’s quiet right now and I’m loving it. Would just like to be able to crash. Wide awake!

@LollyNews That's always the irony of the situation. You finally get rid of the thing that was keeping you awake and still can't sleep.
