Actually, a lot of the time when I am having trouble with my anxiety, I repeat a saying from one of my favorite books. "The thought doesn't control me, I control the thought." I just repeat that until I eventually realize that I can handle this. It helps a lot, also the book is called All Our Broken Pieces by L.D. Crichton.
