Today is a hard day today, President, He who shall not be named, has been sworn in, up until now I pretended it was all a bad dream and my fairy Godmother in drag was going to make it all better. **** fairy tales never come true.

@greenough I like the idea that I can support and respect the office, just not the man in it. Kind of like the suit makes the man, well the people made him president, but I don't have to like the guy in the suit.

@greenough Yes, He is. Like it or not, maybe you didnt vote for and do not support his ideals or express like or approval for him but as part of the democratic process that IS what the system is based on, that like it or not, whoever gets voted in, IS in Fact, ALL of our's president. Unless of course you give up your US Citizenship... Good luck with that.

@Innerturmoil Fascism, oppression, mass deception, inciting violence, personal assault and brute force is not what the "democratic process" represents, as much as one may be in favor of segregation, bigotry, and the cryptopolitics of fear and control. And a "President" who does not "Preside" is no president of mine (compare his vacation days to any other, and his intersecting corporate interests which break the Emoluments clause ARTICLE I, SECTION 9, CLAUSE 8). To refuse his legitimacy is a symbolic statement about the balance of demos vs. empire, criminality vs. justice and love for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all. Accept it or leave? When democracy itself is being dismantled here to export it overseas? No room for conversation? Perhaps you've never heard of dissent spoken of as integral to democracy; perhaps you've never seen a demogogue installed by foreign or corporatocratic powers. "We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution." --Abraham Lincoln
