May 12, 2022They way I look at it , is God gives US what we can handle. Such as I got migraines. I would not want someone’s back pain. I don’t know how to deal with that. It’s good to focus on you. Your health right now, should be first. It’s not selfish at all. If you don’t take care of yourself , you won’t be good for yourself or anything else. Have you sought out a Dr for antidepressants or even talk therapy ? You did mention not to long ago in a different post about possibly medication. I think you should try it. If you have tried and are struggling. No reason to struggle. It’s a blessing that the medication can take affect and help. And of course you need to do work for yourself also to help your thoughts and work on positives. No stinkin thinkin

May 13, 2022@Tree55 I’m so glad to see you replied. I am disappointed this site doesn’t notify me. Either email or when I refresh here.
Do you feel your medications are helping? Have you been on them for a while? When you said you need someone new, are you meaning a new therapist? When we have depression and anxiety it’s a struggle. And yes it feels too much. I would want to isolate myself. During my struggles I just focused on getting better and what more could I do each day to help myself. That was my quest. And that is a struggle also. Because it’s not my norm. But I also realized that my lifestyle I had and how I was living it, wasn’t doing me good because I had anxiety panic attacks and depression. So I knew I needed to change. It’s work. It’s like schooling for yourself to get better. Positive thinking. Re training your thought process. And of course. All baby steps. But stay on the path
