Hello supporters . I'm new to this so please bare with me because this will be a bit LONG. I'm in my mid-twenties and feel like I'm going through one of the hardest times in my life. I lost my mom at 15 and even THAT doesn't match this, but her absence does play big a part. I haven't really received any support since she's left. Some people were reaching out, but all of that stopped once I became an adult (18). I didn't receive any encouragement, reassurance, no one asked if I needed help with anything, nothing. I made a lot of mistakes because I had no one to turn to for guidance or mentorship. I let a lot of people down because they saw promise in me, but they never contributed to my well-being. They have disdain for me and I have resentment towards them because they weren't there.
Life finally hit me that I am lonely...I have rarely any family support, the few friends I have are not Real friends. Love life is non-existent and I have no one to turn to but this forum. I finally decided to make steps towards getting myself back on track, but it will be hard without support. All I ever wanted in life was to be accepted, loved and my efforts be acknowledged. It's a hard pill to swallow that I may never receive the support that I'm looking for. How do I get through this and does it get easier? I feel like a failure that life isn't where I think it should be at 25, but all I can do is make the best of now.Thank you for reading, all encouraging advice is welcomed.

@Breakingfree20 Hello there it seems you are in a lot of pain. I have been fortunate to have some support system and a mother who "loved" me. Oh I was loved but somehow that love has a price. or so I thought. Here is a place where you can find some help maybe. But I strongly suggest finding a good counselor or people who can help you. its important to have focus and a drive to do better things. sometimes its just taking action in a direction even if you don't know where you will end up. at least taking steps helps. you can always change directions. its those first couple of steps that matter most. best of luck reach out if you need help

@PigfaceMcGee513 thank you so much, I really appreciate this :)
