I'm in South Florida. I'm freaking out about the storm. My anxiety is through the roof. I'm crying and am having such a hard time facing this. I don't have family here right now... my Mom is already out of town on a trip. If I face this head on, I will be alone in my house with the cat. I'm so scared the cat might get hurt. I can't face life without her. I can't imagine how scared I will be the closer them storm gets. I've stayed for hurricanes before, but never one this big. We won't know if it's a direct hit until Friday. At that point it will be too late for me to evacuate. Florida already has a gas shortage due to Harvey. I would probably get stuck on the road. I'm so scared.

@afunk Luckily I'm back in my landlocked hometown for now. Life has changed, for sure, but I'll be okay. I'm lucky to be able to find my footing in more stable territory at the moment.
