So, I've been dealing with agoraphobia for a year and 2 months now. I have severe anxiety, IBS, bipolar, BPD, PTSD, and probably more things that I can't remember right now. But with the whole package, it's a bit much. So I kinda just stopped leaving the house. Well... my family is having to deal with me being the way I am. I've got two 2nd graders and a 3yo who depends on me. My daughter wants to join after school things and sports... but I freeze up before saying yes because what if I have to go to a game? Or whatever thing? So I feel like **** from that of course. Well... recently I put my foot down. I was in therapy and told her that it's time we actually work on this because I'm done. I'm so freaking DONE being a prisoner of my own mind and house! I set up some small goals, medium ones, and big ones. I'm working on turning negative thoughts into positive ones. I named my anxious thoughts "Eris" the goddess of Chaos. Oh, and I was told it might make you feel better to say your negative feeling and then add "and I love that" to make yourself feel better and give you a laugh. Well.. that's all for now. Thanks for reading if you did.
