For those who realize they have triggers, how do you manage? I still have issues controlling my moods after someone treats me w disrespect or cruelty. At least I don’t have outburst anymore, but sometimes it puts me in deep dark mood again like I have terrible thoughts about myself n people n I don’t want to be around anyone... right now I’m having an issue again.

It IS hard to listen to disrespect/cruelty. Have you ever heard of "dearman"? It's a step by step way to stand up for yourself without being too confrontational. I learned because I have a quick tempered mouth and used to lash out to hurt them back. Now I walk away and think DEARMAN. Then if they're worth it, I go back and respond. If not, I avoid them like covid
