I was asked out to either go out for drinks or meet at guys house for drinks... I freaked out as I never met the guy... I told him all your looking for is sex. Is this overreacting? He said I’m rude I said he’s disrespectful

@markhappyguy hmmm I don't know if I can change it totally. I am a natural caregiver. I have always put my needs before others that I care about . I'm the yes girl, the fixer. I'm trying to put myself first and I have in certain ways. I have started to do things that make me happy, take time for myself more. I don't know if it negatively effects my relationships necessarily but it certainly made me very stressed and overwhelmed.

@markhappyguy yes trust your instincts! I have been trying to follow mine and I think I’m doing pretty good so far. I’ve stopped talking to some shady guys w red flags. It’s just depressing to know there are so many of them! Here’s an article about sociopaths if anyone’s interested... I’ve been personally trying my best to learn everything I can of how to avoid them in every aspect of my life. I will also add that I include prayer for protection from them.
