I am feeling concerned about something that I need to work on. I can't seem to let go of things that people have done. Especially if they're a sizable issue. I might forgive them for something but if that saying that a lot of damage to me mentally, then I have trouble letting go.

I'm concerned about this because I want to be able to get married and have a healthy marriage with someone. But what if I can't because of this?

I'm actively trying to find exercises that work to help me fix some of my issues.

Is there anyone out there who faced a similar issue but was able to work through it? And if so, what did you do to work through it? How do you not stay angry at a person that you love?

To begin with , I’m sorry all of this happened to you. Love can be blinding and we as people will do whatever it takes to make sure that person receives all of our love even when they don’t deserve. He was a predator and is going to get what’s coming to him. Now, it’s your turn to repair yourself and take all of that love you putted in him back into yourself and into your kids. I know it hurts but we have all done it.

, thanks for commenting on my post. Are you saying he was a predator because of his issues? I don't have kids either. I thought maybe you might have posted on the wrong post. Lol. If it was the wrong post I understand. Regardless I'm going to reply and say that I am trying to work on myself. It's just hard because I don't feel like my therapist is giving me the help that I actually need. I feel like I'm the therapist and I'm finding all the work for myself.
