I am a 45 year old woman whose mother has metastic colon cancer of the liver. She has opted for no treatment other than the surgery she underwent to remove an intestinal blockage and 18" of her intestine. I have come to terms with her decision but because of the distance between us, I'm not sure I'm getting accurate information from her about how she is feeling. I'm just looking for some support and people who can answer my questions and concerns. I, being the oldest of her three children, feel an incredible need to care for her to the very end. She lives in
West Virginia and I in Texas. Currently I am staying at her home with her trying my best to keep my eyes open for her diminishing health but am so full of questions. Any support would be so greatly appreciated.
