On 08/20/1987 I had drank enough to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I could not drink like normal folk. I was also a pot head. For 22 years I've lived a life I never dreamed I'd have. I couldn't imagine 24 hours without my drugs and alcohol.
Today I enjoy my grandchildren and socializing with my friends. I still attend AA meetings and work with other women in recovery.
