My Mom was diag with Hodgkins not long ago. She has completed her first round of chemo and is starting to feel the side effects.
My Mom has spent her entire life taking care of others (she is a paramedic and paramedic instructor) and it is very hard seeing her having to rely on others for help. People keep saying she is stubborn she will beat this but really that is just making it harder to see her so tired.
All of us kids, grandkids, brothers, sister, frinds and her "other kids" (her former students of 26 yrs) are wearing our green bands to support her in the fight. my nephew, 13 yrs old, is cutting hers off when the battle is won!
