I'm a woman who has recently escaped a long term abusive relationship. I have two children, a 17 year old daughter and an almost 14 year old son. We've recently relocated to the Palm Springs area from Aberdeen, Wa. Although I have been in therapy for over two years, this move has me reeling. We now reside with my 81 year old alcoholic mom, who is anything but understanding or supportive.
