Beauty isn't seen throughout the makeup brushes or hair products; beauty is....
"Beauty isn't seen throughout the makeup brushes or hair products; beauty is seen by those who choose not to see imperfections, and by those who you love and those who love you. everyone is beautiful, but some people choose to hate on others for things they don't like. Forget about those who make your days miserable, and live for those who make your life beautiful."
I would much rather focus on people who have this positive attitude toward others.
Not only will it be better for me, it will also *teach* me how to tolerate others because it will be like being around good role modeling.
Good point and well said. I think this country is largely dissolutioned when it comes to finding ways to be happy, thanks to the constant barrage of tv, radio and magazine ads glorifying "flawless skin" and perfect teeth. But yeah, it's our choice to distance ourselves from that and focus on what is real and what is worth putting time into. Also, just to add something to your quote, people who voice their distaste for someone else are often doing so because of something they don't like about themselves. Their words are empty when it comes down to it, especially if they have no idea who you are. I think it's their way of trying to distract people from their own insecurities.
