Paying for medications through insurance companies
Hi all I'm on three different medications for various reasons. I take gabapentin, clonazepam, and cymbalta. The first two are relatively inexpensive through my prescription coverage with my health insurance. However even with insurance I'm still paying at least $80 a month for Cymbalta. Does anyone have any advice on how to help this cost go down? I've realized that there is not a generic version on the market - not that I know of anyhow. I would consider possibly switching to a different and cheaper medication however due to my chronic pain and fibromyalgia being helped tremendously from Cymbalta I'm wary of making a switch. Any and all advice is greatly welcomed.
Cymbalta is produced by Lilly Pharmaceuticals and their drug assistance program can be accessed at http://www.lillytruassist.com/pages/AboutPartnershipforPrescription.aspx.
I hope this helps-
