Only little light had shown through the cracks of the ceiling was the floor of the room above her. She hadn’t seen the outside world for four days at this point, and the smells of the rotting corpses which had no faces, hanging in chains around the room, were making her ill to her stomach. She was now hearing footsteps to the door of the basement in which she was locked up. As the footsteps stopped and she heard a key in the lock of the door click she backed up to the wall. Just as she hit the wall terrified the door flew open and there stood a man in a buttoned up plaid shirt, hiking boots, and blue jeans with a gun holstered to his hip. Terrified and confused to why she was chosen and wondering if anyone would ever find her to rescues her, she watches him step in and close the door behind him. Just as the door shut and her eyes adjusted to the dim lighting again he pull his gun and pointed it right at her face.
Before she was taken to this god awful place she was in, Becky Hark, a normal girl in her 20’s working hard on the weekdays and out with her friends on the weekends. On the night she was abducted she was out with her best friend, Shelly, at the new club of the city, The After Light Lounge. They had waited in line for 2 hours to get in, as so as they enter though for her she thought the wait was worth it, but now, she really just wishes that night had went way differently. Her best friend had seen him first, as soon as he came up to introduce himself Shelly just knew something wasn’t right about him. Becky just wouldn’t listen though she was memorized by him well chiseled facial features. She should have listened to Shelly that night because maybe she wouldn’t be facing this terrible encounter she in which was happening now.
As the gun levels with her face she realizes what she has to do. she grabbed the gun and it goes spinning out of his hand and into the corner. She knows this is her only chance to escape, she takes off in a dead run for the door. Her adrenaline running she ripped the door open blinding her capture behind her. Going up the old, rickety stairs her foot broke through one of them, luckily she recovered in seconds and escaped. She heard him yelling after her and knew she had no time to spare to plan her next move she had to be quick on her feet. Seeing trees in the distance she took off towards them, but she wasn’t fast enough he seen her and he jumped in his truck to catch her. She had gotten to the tree line just in time, his truck wouldn’t fit he had to go after her on foot. She was stumbling as she ran so she wasn’t being able to keep much ground between them. Just soon in time she seen a cabin which looked abandoned so she entered. Thinking that she would be safe inside she looked around and seen a handgun on the table and sat down in the chair next to it. Just as she sat down and her muscles relaxed he kicked in the door, she let out a scream of fear and in the same breath grabbed the gun, closed her eyes...Bang! Everything went dark as her body released its last breath and collapsed to the ground. She wasn’t found or saved she was another victim left to hang lifeless in that basement as a trophy just as all the others before her.
