Someone help me please!!!
Over the past year I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, OA, degenerated disc disease, tmj, pinched nerves both hands and wrists, carpal tunnel... Ive had two foot surgeries and septoplasty ... Ive had chronic back pain for years and gotten worse over the past 2 years... muscle spasms in my neck and shoulders all day everyday... heres where i need the help... Ive been seeing a PM doctor for 3 months now... when I finally got into see him which took almost 3 months I was taking 5mg percocet 4x daily and 100mg ultram 4x daily which wasn't totally taking care of my pain but I was making it through with plenty of ice/heat/massage therapy at home... my first visit he took my ultrams from me and bumped me up to 10mg oxy 4x daily .. my pain still wasn't to a controllable level where i could partake is daily activities so at my next visit he gave me the butrans patch but I think this is where i screwed myself... i told him the pain was so bad that i had to take one extra pill a day... i tried the butrans but i became so depressed i had to call him but the pain was controlled with the patch and the oxy ... when i called they said to take it off and he would see me in a week... when i went in he seem not in a good mood and told me in a very passive way that he wasnt going to add anything but i told him my pain isnt under control .... he adjusted my neck and sent me on my way said that should help.. well 6 hours later im in pain all over again... I cant seem to get across to him that i need a long acting med... i saw him 3 days ago and i want to call him but i dont want him to throw me out of his practice .... I see him at the end of the month...
and can someone tell me if im considered a chronic pain patient??? he doesn't tell me much when i see him ... he seems very rushed

I am sorry to hear about how much pain you are going through. I was just diagnosed with it few months ago. I still haven't found the right medicine for pain relief. I not sure how to tell to get point across to your doctor. I am sorry he is making you feel liked rushed. I haven't dealt with that to much. I do know on a lot of days it doesn't matter what I take pain is always there. Food doesn't help me. I am reading a lot of different things about how to control the pain. Right now I am seeing pain management and she has also told me if this next medication doesn't work I can go back to my Rhuematologist. Good luck. I wish I could be more helpful about the situation with the doctor.

Im seeing my doctor in 4 days... Last visit I left crying ... He added a long acting muscle relaxer which helped some with my sleeping.. My pain has been worse this month... my elbows are pinching like crazy and Ive been using ice and moist heat along with my tens unit ... it helps the pain while using but the pain is always back after ... my knees and hips hurt ... I feel like Ive been hit by a truck most days ... I havent called him because that gets me no where... I looked my doctor up on vitals and such.. he has great feedback from other patients .. Im thinking asking him right out isnt the way to go about getting relief from him... Im thinking just explaining my pain and letting him do what he wants to do with me is the way to go.. I have been taking 5 of my oxy 10s a day instead of 4 and I cant tell him im short again :( .. I do plan on asking him about a rheumatologist... Ive been taking advil and tylenol every 4 hours ... Im suffering and I feel like no one cares... I often lay in bed at night and ask god to take me in my sleep :(
