Easeyer than I thought
I figured I might as well try quiting smoking too. I asked God to give me a bad taste when I lit up. I smoked for over thirty years. That was summer before last. He did. I don't count days or time clean. I'm just tthankful each day. It's a lot easyer for me that way. BOB.
Hi bluidkiti; I just finished bloging you back and somehow lost the whole message(smile) Bare with me I'm a newbe to almost everything. Yea I really did'nt expect it to be that easy. But you know what; living clean I find that theres so many things that seem new. One of the feelings that I enjoy most is that inner glow like everything is new again. I was on a train the other day and the people around me seems so fasinating. Just taking in the moment.I had two other words that I wanted to use to say what I felt but I could'nt find either one in the dictionary(smile) Most definatly; I will ad you to my prayer list. I have an ausom relationship with the creator. After all he sent me here. Hey have a great day, unless you decide not to. BOB
Hey Bob, One thing I miss is the freedom from smoking. We went on a 2 week cruise in Alaska a few years ago. I wasn't smoking then. It felt great not to have to worry about when I could smoke. There were smokers on the trip with us. They were always consumed with when and where they could smoke a cigarette. I have cut down on my smoking. I just need to finally quit the blasted things. They are terrible.
Thanks for being here. Thank you for your prayers. I believe in the Lord. I know He can help me with this. He has already helped me with so many things. I trust Him. That's one of the reasons smoking weighs on me so badly because I do love the Lord and want to be pleasing to Him.
Good Morning; Hey that trip to Alaska sounds wonderful. Seeing all that natural beauty, it would have been a shame to spoil the moment with a smoke of any kind. Just finised do my little exercise this morning. When you feel like taking that smoke, do a little exercise right where you are, it does'nt have to be anything proper, just strech your arms and hands. When you finish I bet you won"t want that smoke right away.I love the fact that you knnow HIM. The creator wants us to please him, and when we realise that, everything good feels good. Than you for being here.I know that we are all here for each other. So have a good day--unless you decide not to. Love Yal Family:
Hi Robert, Yes it was a wonderful trip and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. Thanks for the tip on doing exercise. I'll have to keep that in mind. My oldest daughter has been after to me go to the gym with her. I have a free pass for 10 days. Might have to do that. Thanks for being here. I hope you have a great day also! :-)

Hi robert, Good for you on quitting smoking. I had quit for over 2 and a half years and picked it up again last summer. I am praying everyday and really wish to quit again. Funny that you mention that bad taste in your mouth. I have been having that recently. If you don't mind, would you pray for me also. I hate smoking. It is terrible. I want to be free of it - again. Keep taking it one day at a time and letting me know how you are doing.
