Unexpected suprise

Ok, so last night i really wanted to cut.My addiction was controlling me. I just couldn't get over that i am 15 and i have to sign up to a support group thingy struggling with various addictions. It was just embarrassing and well, it made me feel worthless. It made me feel like i have no strength or hope, i felt like i couldn't make it through anything because i am having so much trouble since i was so young in my life. But, i started to read other people's stories, i wanted to help them and comfort them. I started commenting on one and God stopped me and told me to write it from him. I did this for three people. He told me what to write, and i felt like wow, i am helping the Almighty Ruler of everything comfort and help people. I had a purpose last night and it kept me from cutting. Thank you God.

God uses us in the most amazing ways, that only He can comprehend. Thank you for responding to those people from God, maybe that's exactly what they needed too.

Hi Sing-For-Change.YI, Like aloneagain said, "God uses us in the most amazing ways." It really helps me in my recovery to get out of myself and help others. This is something I do everyday. I live for God and helping others. I am glad you did not cut. Keep taking it one day at a time. Keep turning to God. Keep coming and sharing with us here.
