Pill Addiction

It has been a while since I have been on here. I have been clean for 120 days now. I have been working out alot now which I think has been my outlet. I feel so much better when I am on here and can still talk about my addiction. I live in a neighborhood where drugs are so easy to come by, I have to really keep myself away from those people. I feel like I live more of a sheltered life because of that, but I know that I am just protecting my sobriety. My little sister has a history of crack addiction and has turned herself into jail today because of a outstanding warrant, she wants to come and live with me when she gets out of jail, but I really do NOT want to risk my own sobriety. If she starts to get in with the wrong people over here, it is all over. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers. God Bless everyone who has been through any Addiction-One day at a time..............

Hi acheli, It's always great hearing from you. Congratulations on 120 days! I am very proud of you. As for your little sister, we have to put our own sobriety first. If she comes to live with you, is she willing to do what it takes to get herself clean? I would ask her that. If you do let her live with you, it's up to you what you will put up with. Tell her there will be no using if she is to live with you or else she is out. It's up to you if you let her live with you or not and also up to you on setting boundaries.

Keep us posted. We are here for you. I will say a prayer for you both. ((((hugs))))
