lung cancer stage 4
my mom 84.......Diagnosed with lung cancer its stage 4.
At 84 she is only 99 pounds. I don't think she could do chemo or radation. The doctor's don't say how long she has. She has a feeding tube makes it hard to take
care of her. I live in Las Vegas. She has medicare/pending medicade. They don't offer any home health care. She is on hospice. They only come once a week. Anyone know any programs in las vegas.

I am so overwhelmed by the fact that hospice only comes once a week for you ! speechless...This is suppose to be a loving and careing group.
I am so so sorry for your situation as my dad passed the
same way, mom passed from alzhimers, I understand your frustration, I wish I could help.
I can only say that my heart is with you and breaks for the inhumanity that is being shown.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother. In Nevada I don't know of any beyond the Nevada Senior RX which might be able to help with medications.
National groups might have a branch in Vegas. There's the Cancer Fund of America Inc, or you can can try the resources listed HERE as well. Not sure all of what Christians Overcoming Cancer offers, but you can check out their site. CancerCare.org helps with cancer-related costs. And maybe the American Lung Association's Vegas chapter can offer some suggestions.
