My Ocd Story chapter 1

Okay So I have had OCD since I was 6 and at that time it was more of an obsessive thing about my house getting set on fire and stuff like tornadoes. That lasted till I was about 11?ish then the Ocd stuff I still have now kicked in. I had an unusual obsession with waistbands like sensory issues so I constently adjusted my clothes not a huge deal bt by age 12 my toretts was intense constently cocking and arching parts of my body snorting till my throat bled constently being in pain...that went till 14 then it really disapated leading to a severe increase in ocd behaviors such as pushing on my stomach and scraping at it till it bled. I had a scab there all the time and had to make it bleed throwing myself up on to chairs and scraping my tummy down..this got so severe I could no longer have clothes or even covers touch me leading to me sleeping with a table on my bed with covers over me...My parents sent me to my aunts house thinking she would be of some help but after about 2 months something more drastic needed to be done...so I was sent to a treatment center..little did we know they had no experience with OCD at all and almost killed me overdosing me on sleeping meds so after 10 pointless very expensive days I was sent home..a month later I went To the inpatient treatment center at Mayo clinic in Rochester Mn where I stayed for 27 days. They worked wonders with all they did and I was but on Luvoux 150mg but I still had Ocd which had its small ups and downs till I was 18 when it really increased in a period of 6 months really intensifying I had to have my stomach 100% flat all the time and if it wasn't I wold push on it or hit it till it was. This obsession lead to my eating disorder...which I am not sure it would be classified as because I eat very little but if I eat a normal meal I puke..but an ed none the less. I had it by this time and Knew I needed help once again so I went to Rogers Memorial in Wisconsin...I had a few issues with the program but all in all it helped a lot and I have continued to get better and better since then.I got home March 10th and since then it has ups and downs but is VERY managable! I thank the Lord so much because I know I couldn't have got through it without him <3 Oh also I am on effexor 300mg which is working well for me =)
