I Lost my wife. She was 59, passed away on May 15, 2010. Please help me!

I Lost my wife. She was 59 when she passed away. Please help me! We found out mid December she had in-operable lung cancer. We remained hopeful until the last
week of her life, we were hoping for a miracle. Chemotherapy helped my wife to stay strong in the beginning, giving her/us 3 happy months. Complications, due
to pneumonia took her from me on May 15 2010. Time seems to pass slowly. I have so many feelings I don't understand.
I am not able to look at a picture of her without falling apart.
Some words that may help are appreciated. Thank You

Gosh hon we are here for you please talk about it if & when you feel like it.

My mom died in '81 from brain cancer & to this day when I find something of hers (could be an old kleenex) I hang onto it so I understand.

I'll be thinking of you & take care of you.

April

Hi ramore1, I am so very, very sorry for your loss. It is understandable to be having the feelings you are having right now. Everyone grieves in their own way and own time. You will heal with time. Is there possibly a grief support group in your local area? Maybe also check with your doctor and/or church for more support. Please keep sharing with us here. I know how much it helps to talk. We are here for you. I will say a prayer for you. ((((hugs))))

Hi Ramore

Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. I can only imagine the pain. Do you have family to help you through this sad time? I hope you have some help, what about grief counselling, that will be of some help. You probably feel like it is the end of the world, that you don't want to go on, but Ramore you have to be strong and lift yourself up, your wife wouldn't have wanted you to fall in a heap, she would have wanted you to be strong and get on with your life.

I am thinking of you Ramore and you are in my prayers my friend.
