depressed

hi, i'm new here.
i'm depressed, cause i feel very lonely.
i push friends and people who love me away all the times.
when i meet someone for the first time I'm nice and kind. i do care about them, but as soon as i fall in love or closer to falling in love, i change, i become angry and very dramatic, i tried to change especially now that I'm going to be 30 soon, but i just cant. i really need help cause i really feel lonely.

maybe you just havent met the right person and " change and become angry" is your brains way of telling you it isnt the right person? could be a defense mechanism that keeps you from just settling for someone? hopefully when you meet the right person things happen a different way.

Hi neladla, Welcome to SupportGroups.com. Have you seen a doctor and/or counselor for help with this? To get to the root of why you do this?

ME TOO!!,
What the ****?!?! Except I am almost 36, I have pushed everyone away from me, I mean everyone! I know I have depression, but still (Sigh) . . . You know, now that I think about it i have way out of my way to help people in past, and those same people ask for more, then I get mad, and since it was ok before, they don't understand I say no, and then because I wear my heart on my sleeve, and make my insecurities and doubts known, then other people, I guess, think they are helping by giving my advice, ok, maybe some advice I can use, but some of it I can't. I don't know anymore. This is not about relationships, like your post, sorry. I feel like I have given up on relationships, I have alot of facial hair, gray hair, glasses, almost 36, and 50 lbs. overweight. Not what guys are usually interested in.

Hi all
Sorry for very late reply and thank you for the reply, I did see a therapist for a short period of time. Did not really help much. I have made some changes But you know what WATERFALL I realized change comes from inside I have been rejected by my father who never loved me and he left my mother. Inside each person there is a child that might have been hurt and it's up to us to take care of that little child comfort them and put them first .changes takes time but commit to it.
