ED vids no more.

kay, ever since i started this ED, which was in 2008, i became sorta addicted if u will to watching these videos about peoples story about anorexia or bulimia. i like to watch them because i like to know about other peoples story. its just so inspirational and really touching sometimes. i just wish i could stop.

I know it sounds strange, but I think this is actually kind of common. A lot of people who can admit they have eating disorders often find comfort in knowing they're not the only ones, and they enjoy reading other people's stories to understand more about the disease and how it can happen to such a variety of people. It feels good to know that people can get help and recover, and that can definitely be inspirational.

However, I do have to say, that these stories can be huge triggers. If you find it helpful to watch these kinds of videos, by all means go for it, but just be mindful of how you are affected by it. Keep track of your feelings and make sure you are watching them for the right reasons. I only mention this because I have used this type of media to stay sick in the past, so I have to assume others have done so, too.
