Did anybody catch the latest episode of "Law & Order: SVU"? It dealt with a medication called ibogaine, which I'd never heard of. The link here is to the wikipedia page, but I'm curious if others have heard of this or have any experience with it?

Never heard of it , but that was very interesting to me. Again the U.S. lacks in concern of what could be helpful, compared to what they could consider a threat to the pharmacies and the taxes from drugs given to the government. Sorry that was the aggressive Tennessee redneck side of me. Im all about natural therapy.

I saw it, it was fairly accurate too.
I've heard of Iboga, I have experience with Iboga. It worked for me for alcohol, I've seen it work for opiates as well as cigarettes. I know people whose other addictions are diminished by Iboga as well. Food, sex, etc. It helps heal the places where addiction starts, that's the beauty of it.

Yes, I work with ibogaine. The work we do can be found at www.awakeninginthedream.com Rocky Caravelli is the director. You can find out more about him by googling his name. The show was a fair representation. We are grateful.

Yes, Ibogaine is 100% real. I was in and out of 12 step groups (and 5 "12 step" rehabs) for 18 years. Even when I was clean, the thought of opiates was never completely out of my mind.

I went to Tijuana (NOT CANCUN... be careful) about a year ago for Ibogaine treatment. I not only haven't used since then, I haven't even had a serious THOUGHT of dope for the first time in 18 years. I can't describe what it's like.

I especially liked the mention of greedy pharmaceutical companies on prime-time TV. I think it was a fair representation of ibogaine although they should´t have used the word "cure".

Thanks

Why is today so hard. I feel the need to cry but for some reason the tears won't come. Am I afraid that if I release these feelings the pain will still be there? Or is it that if I cry the reality will just be to overwhelming?

Okay, I'm a nervous wreck! I have no experience with the entire birth/c-section thing. I don't know what to expect. I just want my sister to be okay and my niece to get here. Almost 6 hours to go. Maybe I should have taken the breathing class? LOL!

My niece is about to be born today. I am anxiously awaiting for our precious little angel to arrive. I think I'm more anxious than my sister.

I'm probably not what I should be; I know I'm not what I could be..I'm definitely not who I want to be, but I'm sure not who I used to be.
